What is Bluedot?

Bluedot is an AI meeting assistant that captures conversations and turns them into transcripts, summaries and follow-up items. Its main difference from many note takers is that it can record without sending a bot into the call, using a browser extension or app instead. It also handles in-person meetings and phone conversations, so notes are not limited to video platforms.

After a meeting ends, Bluedot emails a link containing the recording, transcript and summary. The service is aimed at sales teams, recruiters, managers and anyone who spends much of the day in meetings.

Key Features of Bluedot

Bot-free recording

You start capture from the Chrome extension, desktop app or phone, and choose whether a bot appears or not. This keeps the call free of an extra participant when that matters to clients or candidates.

Multilingual transcripts and summaries

Bluedot transcribes and summarises in over 100 languages. Summaries are organised into an overview and topic sections with the main points of each part of the conversation.

Templates

Ready-made templates cover sales, recruitment and customer check-ins. Pro users can write a prompt to define their own note format.

AI chat across meetings

You can question a single meeting, or use the global chat to ask about a theme across several calls. Answers link to timestamps so you can replay the relevant moment.

Integrations

Notes can flow to Slack, Notion, HubSpot and Claude, and to thousands of tools through Zapier, Make and webhooks. Business adds CRM and applicant-tracking sync, SSO and custom retention rules.

Apps on every device

Besides the Chrome extension, Bluedot offers Mac and Windows apps, iOS and Android apps and an Apple Watch app, and recordings sync across all of them so you can review notes or ask questions from your phone.

Bluedot Pricing

Bluedot has a free tier for trying the product and three paid per-user plans, with lower rates when billed annually. Companies can also ask for a flat price that covers everyone.

Prices checked on October 27, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.

Who Should Use Bluedot?

  • Sales reps who want call notes and next steps synced to their CRM
  • Recruiters running many interviews who need consistent summaries
  • Consultants and managers who meet in person as often as online
  • Teams that want to search decisions across months of meetings

Is Bluedot Worth It?

Bluedot is a strong option if you dislike meeting bots or need to capture in-person conversations, and its cross-meeting chat is useful for following long projects. The free plan is very small, so treat it as a short trial rather than an ongoing tier. The Basic plan's audio-only recording and one-hour cap may push regular users to Pro, and teams that need CRM sync must move to Business. Remember that recording laws and etiquette vary, so let participants know when a meeting is being captured.
