Claap
Claap records sales calls, meetings and emails, then uses AI to fill CRM fields, score reps against frameworks like MEDDPICC and flag deal risks, with MCP access for Claude and ChatGPT.

What is Claap?
Claap is an AI meeting recorder and revenue intelligence platform for sales teams. It records sales calls, meetings and the emails around a deal, transcribes them, and then extracts structured information such as next steps, blockers, budget and qualification criteria. That data is written back into the CRM and scored against your sales methodology, so managers can see deal risk and coach reps without asking them to fill in forms.
Claap is built for revenue teams, from startups to enterprises, including account executives, sales engineers, customer success managers and RevOps. It also keeps its roots as an async video tool, with screen and camera recording for internal updates.
Key Features of Claap
Recording with or without a bot
Claap can capture Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls from your desktop without a visible bot joining, or use a bot if your team prefers. In-person meetings can be recorded from the mobile app, and dialer calls and emails can be added to the same deal timeline.
Transcripts in 99+ languages
Calls are transcribed in more than 99 languages, with summaries, chapters, subtitles and searchable transcripts on paid plans.
CRM auto-fill
On the Business plan, Claap writes custom fields, next steps and blockers to Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio or Pipedrive, and classifies meetings by type such as discovery, demo or negotiation. You control what syncs and when.
Scorecards and AI coaching
Ready-made frameworks such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, BANT and SPICED can be edited or replaced with your own criteria, and every rep can be scored on each call with separate scorecards for different roles.
AI agents through MCP
The Claap MCP connector lets Claude or ChatGPT query your conversations with citations, and workflows can be wired through Zapier, Make, n8n or webhooks to deliver recaps to Slack, the CRM or dashboards.
Security
Claap states it is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant, offers a DPA on request and does not use customer data to train models.
Claap Pricing
Claap charges per recording license. Basic licenses for contributors who mainly watch and comment are free and can be mixed with paid licenses in the same workspace. Prices are shown in US dollars and euros, and yearly billing is 20% cheaper than monthly.
Prices checked on October 27, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.
Who Should Use Claap?
- Sales teams that want CRM fields filled from calls instead of manual note-taking.
- Sales managers who coach reps against MEDDPICC, BANT or a custom framework.
- RevOps teams looking to feed conversation data into AI agents and reporting.
- Customer success teams tracking account health and renewal risk from meetings.
- Remote teams that also use async screen and camera videos for updates.
Is Claap Worth It?
Claap is a strong fit for revenue teams that already run on a CRM and lose time on call notes and pipeline updates. The bot-free recording, methodology scorecards and MCP access for AI assistants go beyond a basic meeting note-taker, and the free Basic license makes it easy to bring in colleagues who only need to review calls.
The catch is that the most valuable sales features, including CRM auto-complete, coaching and cross-meeting AI, sit on the Business plan, and HubSpot and Salesforce integrations are not included on Pro. The free tier is capped at 300 minutes in total. For individual users who only want meeting summaries, a cheaper note-taker may be enough; for sales teams that want cleaner CRM data and coaching insight, Claap is worth a demo or a free start.
