What is CleeAI?

CleeAI builds the Large Knowledge Model (LKM), which it describes as a knowledge operating layer that sits between business applications and the large language models they call. Rather than being another chatbot or model, it acts as a control layer above models such as GPT, Claude or Gemini, aiming to cut AI infrastructure costs, verify the accuracy of answers and stop sensitive data from leaking.

The company, CleeAI Limited, was founded by Annika Monari. The product is aimed at enterprises in regulated sectors, including banking, financial research, clinical research and pharma, where a wrong or unverified AI answer can become a compliance or safety problem. It is currently offered through an early access programme.

Key Features of CleeAI

Cost-aware model routing

The LKM routes each query to an appropriate model instead of sending everything to the most expensive one, and applies verification only where it is needed, with the goal of reducing inference spend.

Verified answers and hallucination blocking

Responses are checked against confirmed sources. If a study, report or metric cannot be found, CleeAI says that evidence is missing instead of inventing a plausible answer.

Governance and policy enforcement

Risky requests, such as attempts to extract anti-money-laundering detection logic, can be intercepted before they reach a model, and the system explains why a request was blocked.

Consistent rule application

For tasks like AML and KYC evaluations, CleeAI aims to apply each defined rule exactly as written and return the same decision every time, avoiding drift from unstated assumptions.

Audit trail

Each query is logged, supporting the explainability and auditability expected under rules such as the EU AI Act and sector guidance from regulators.

Model-agnostic design

Because it sits above the model layer, organizations keep the freedom to choose or switch foundation models. Existing applications continue to send prompts as before, with the LKM handling routing and checks in between.

CleeAI Pricing

CleeAI does not publish pricing. Enterprise teams request early access through a form on the website, and the company says participants are selected individually. Expect a sales conversation and pricing based on your deployment, models and compliance needs.

Prices checked on October 27, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.

Who Should Use CleeAI?

  • Banks and fintechs deploying AI for compliance work such as AML and KYC reviews.
  • Financial research teams that cannot accept invented metrics or reports.
  • Clinical and pharmaceutical researchers who need answers grounded in real publications.
  • Enterprise AI and platform teams trying to control LLM costs across several models.

Is CleeAI Worth It?

CleeAI addresses real problems for enterprises using LLMs in high-stakes settings: rising inference costs, hallucinated facts and weak governance. A model-agnostic layer that routes, verifies and audits queries could make it easier to get AI approved in regulated environments.

It is, however, an early access product. There is no self-serve sign-up, no public pricing and no published documentation on the website, and the performance claims on the site cannot be checked independently before a trial. Individuals and small teams cannot use it today. Large organizations in finance or healthcare evaluating AI governance tools may find it worth joining the waitlist and testing against their own data; everyone else should wait for broader availability.
