What is Dubly.AI?

Dubly.AI is an AI video translation service from Germany. You upload a video or paste a YouTube link, choose target languages, and Dubly produces a dubbed version in which the speaker's own cloned voice speaks the new language. With lip sync enabled, the mouth movements are adjusted to match the translated audio. Every video also gets translated subtitles.

The service focuses on businesses: corporate training, e-learning courses, marketing videos and media publishers that want content in many languages. A large part of its pitch is data protection, with hosting in Germany and a promise not to use customer videos for AI training.

Key Features of Dubly.AI

Lip-synced translation

Dubly adjusts lip movements to the new language and says its model handles difficult footage, such as partly covered faces, head turns and several people in frame.

Voice cloning

Speakers keep their own voice in each language. You can also replace a voice from a library or upload your own, and multi-speaker detection assigns voices to each person.

Translation editor and glossary

A per-segment editor lets you fix wording, set tone and formality, control pronunciation, mark terms not to translate and store a company glossary, with unlimited revisions.

40+ target languages, unlimited length

Dubly accepts more than 100 source languages and translates into 40+ target languages and dialects, with no limit on video length and uploads up to 5 GB.

Subtitles and exports

Export MP4 video, separate voice and background audio, SRT subtitles or burned-in captions, while background music is preserved.

Teams, API and compliance

Unlimited users with roles, an API for bulk automation, GDPR compliance, a DPA and servers in Germany are included on every purchase.

Dubly.AI Pricing

Dubly sells credits rather than seats. One credit translates one minute of video into one language, and lip sync uses two credits per minute. You can buy credits once, or subscribe monthly (up to 21% cheaper) or yearly (up to 41% cheaper). Prices are net and exclude VAT. The example below is the default monthly option shown on the pricing page; other credit volumes change the price.

Prices checked on October 27, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.

Who Should Use Dubly.AI?

  • Companies localizing internal training and onboarding videos
  • Online course creators selling to international audiences
  • Marketing teams adapting campaign videos for several markets
  • Publishers translating video news or explainers at scale via API
  • European organizations that require GDPR-compliant, EU-hosted processing

Is Dubly.AI Worth It?

Dubly.AI is a strong fit for businesses that care about both quality and data protection. Voice cloning, careful lip sync and a detailed translation editor address the usual weak points of AI dubbing, and having every feature included, with no seat fees, keeps pricing simple. German hosting and a no-training commitment will matter to many European buyers.

The trade-off is cost per minute. Lip sync doubles credit use, and translating long courses into several languages adds up quickly. Monthly credits expire at the end of each month, so the monthly plan suits steady usage rather than one-off spikes. Lip sync results also depend on clear, well-lit footage. For occasional personal videos, a cheaper tool may be enough, but for professional localization Dubly is worth a trial or demo. Visit the official Dubly.AI website for current pricing.
