MyMemo
MyMemo collects articles, videos, PDFs, notes and recordings in one workspace, summarizes them and answers questions using only your saved content, with sources. Aimed at researchers, students and knowledge workers.

What is MyMemo?
MyMemo is an AI knowledge management app built around the idea of a "second brain". You save the things you read, watch and record during the day, and MyMemo stores them in a single library, produces summaries and lets you ask questions about everything you have collected. Answers come with numbered references back to your own saved items, so you can check where each point came from.
It is designed for people who handle a lot of information: researchers, students, writers, founders and anyone who regularly bookmarks articles and then forgets them. MyMemo runs in the browser, on iOS and Android, and through a Chrome extension for one-click capture.
Key Features of MyMemo
One library for every format
Web articles, links, X threads, screenshots, images, PDFs, notes, YouTube videos and audio recordings can all be saved into the same space and grouped into collections.
AskMemo chat
The built-in assistant searches only your knowledge base when answering. You can ask it to find a document you vaguely remember, combine ideas from several sources or draft an article based on material you have actually read.
Summaries and transcription
MyMemo condenses long articles and YouTube videos and transcribes audio. Paid plans also include transcription minutes for M-NOTE, the company's thin card-sized voice recorder, which is sold separately for US$199.
MemoCast
MemoCast turns a set of saved memos into a short audio episode, which suits people who prefer to review material while commuting.
Projects and OpenMyMemo
Pro and Ultra add Projects, where an agent works with your files and memory, with project storage of 1 GB or 5 GB. OpenMyMemo is a free open-source version that runs on your own computer, and paid plans include a cloud connector that relays requests from ChatGPT or claude.ai to it.
MyMemo Pricing
MyMemo has a free tier that needs no credit card, plus two paid plans that are cheaper on annual billing. All plans include the web app, mobile apps and Chrome extension.
Prices checked on October 28, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.
Agent usage, including inside Projects, is billed from prepaid credit on top of the plan. Lifetime deals sold by authorized partners are handled separately from the regular subscriptions.
Who Should Use MyMemo?
- Students and researchers who want to search and question their reading notes in one place.
- Writers and marketers who collect references and want drafts grounded in that material.
- Professionals who watch long videos or attend lectures and need quick summaries.
- Privacy-minded users interested in running the open-source OpenMyMemo locally.
Is MyMemo Worth It?
MyMemo is one of the more affordable ways to get an AI assistant that works on your own saved content rather than the open web. Source-linked answers make it easier to trust the output, and the range of supported formats, from YouTube to audio recordings, covers most of what people tend to bookmark.
The free plan is best treated as a trial, since 50 chat messages and 10 document uploads a month disappear quickly once you start saving regularly. Heavier agent work also costs extra credit, and the app only becomes truly useful after you have built up a library. If you already save a lot of material and struggle to find it again, the Pro plan offers solid value; casual users may be fine with a simpler bookmarking tool.
