What is Rask AI?

Rask AI is an AI video localisation service that translates and dubs video and audio into more than 135 languages. You upload a video, Rask transcribes it, translates the transcript and generates a dubbed version with AI voices, optionally cloning the original speaker's voice and syncing lip movements to the new audio.

It is built for creators, educators, marketing teams and media companies that want to reach audiences in other languages without hiring translators and voice actors for every video. Rask is available in the web app and through an API, and the company states it holds SOC 2 Type II certification.

Key Features of Rask AI

Translation and Dubbing in 135+ Languages

Rask converts marketing videos, courses, podcasts and entertainment content into dubbed versions, and a single project can produce several languages at once.

Voice Cloning

The VoiceClone feature reproduces a speaker's own voice in 32 or more languages. Higher plans add controls for similarity, accent and expressiveness, and let you save cloned voices for reuse.

Multi-Speaker Detection and Lip-Sync

Rask detects how many people speak in a video and assigns voices accordingly. On Creator Pro and above, lip-sync adjusts mouth movements to match the translated audio.

Line-by-Line Editor

Before exporting, you can edit the transcript and translation, adjust timing, speaking speed and voice settings, and re-dub individual segments without paying again for approved results.

Captions, SRT and On-Screen Text

Rask generates captions, imports and exports SRT files, and on higher plans translates text that appears inside the frame, such as slides and charts.

Team Workflow and API

Business plans add shared glossaries, batch processing of many videos and languages, reviewer approval and team workspaces. The API supports automated localisation at volume.

Rask AI Pricing

Plans are priced by included localisation minutes. Annual billing saves up to about a third, gives the full year's minutes up front so none are lost at month end, and allows buying extra minutes at $3 per minute. The site was also flagging a limited-time offer on annual plans when checked.

Prices checked on October 28, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.

Who Should Use Rask AI?

  • YouTubers and podcasters launching channels in new languages.
  • Online course creators and EdTech companies localising lessons.
  • Marketing teams adapting product and promo videos for new markets.
  • Media studios dubbing series and entertainment content.
  • Developers automating translation pipelines through the API.

Is Rask AI Worth It?

Rask AI is a mature, focused option for video translation, with strong language coverage, voice cloning, lip-sync and an editor that gives you real control over the final script. For teams that localise content regularly, it can replace much of the cost and turnaround time of traditional dubbing.

The main drawback is price per minute. The free trial covers only three minutes, the Creator plan's 25 monthly minutes go quickly with longer videos, and features such as lip-sync, on-screen text translation and team review sit on the more expensive tiers. AI translation and voices still need a native speaker's check for important content. If you publish videos in multiple languages often, Rask is worth testing; for occasional short clips, the entry tier may feel costly.
