Shiken
Shiken records meetings, turns calls and documents into notes, courses and AI roleplays, and coaches learners and sales teams with scored practice across 40+ languages.

What is Shiken?
Shiken is an AI coaching and learning platform that combines a meeting recorder, AI roleplay practice and course creation. It captures conversations and documents, turns them into notes, quizzes, courses or practice scenarios, and then gives feedback on how you perform.
The platform serves three groups: individuals who want a personal coach and note-taker, creators and coaches who build and sell learning content, and organisations using it for sales enablement, onboarding and people development.
Key Features of Shiken
Meeting Recorder
Shiken records calls on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams with or without a bot joining, as well as in-person audio, then transcribes and summarises them.
AI Roleplay and Coaching
You can rehearse sales pitches, negotiations, feedback conversations or patient interactions with AI characters that respond and push back, scored against a rubric in 40+ languages.
One-Click Content Creation
Uploaded docs, PDFs, links, YouTube videos or recorded calls can be converted into summary notes, quizzes, courses, slide decks, proposals and roleplays.
Microlearning and Gamification
Live quizzes, leaderboards and spaced-repetition practice aim to make training stick, whether learners work solo or in groups.
Agents in Slack and Teams
Shiken Agents build a knowledge base from your meetings and sources, answer questions with citations and push coaching or roleplays into Slack and Teams.
Analytics and Integrations
Admins can see skill gaps and completion data, while recordings sync to CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Dynamics 365. Enterprise adds SCORM export and SSO.
Shiken Pricing
Shiken splits pricing into Learner, Creator and Enterprise tracks, with prices shown in GBP, USD or EUR. Annual billing is advertised as saving about 20%, and creator plans come with a 7-day trial that requires a work email and card.
Prices checked on October 28, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.
Who Should Use Shiken?
- Sales and customer success reps practising calls and reviewing recordings.
- L&D teams turning documents into courses and roleplay scenarios.
- Coaches and course creators who want to sell interactive learning.
- Students and language learners who want speaking practice and quizzes.
- Managers rehearsing difficult conversations before they happen.
Is Shiken Worth It?
Shiken covers a lot in one place: note-taking, roleplay practice, course authoring and delivery inside Slack or Teams. For teams currently paying for separate recorder, roleplay and LMS tools, that consolidation can be appealing, and the free plan offers a genuine meeting recorder to start with.
The breadth also brings complexity. Pricing has several tracks and currencies, the free plan's roleplay and AI note allowances are small, creator trials need a card, and key enterprise features such as SCORM, SSO and live avatar roleplays require a sales conversation. Individuals who mostly want transcripts may find simpler tools enough, while teams focused on coaching and enablement are the best fit.
