What is SparrowDesk?

SparrowDesk is an AI-first customer support helpdesk. Its centrepiece is Zoona, an AI agent that reads incoming tickets, works out what the customer needs and replies on its own across email, live chat, WhatsApp, Slack and calls, passing anything it cannot handle to a human with full context. Around Zoona sit a shared omnichannel inbox, an AI Copilot for support agents, a help center builder and reporting.

The product targets small and growing support teams, including SaaS companies and startups, that want to automate repetitive questions without a long implementation. SparrowDesk states that it is SOC 2 Type II certified, GDPR compliant and does not use customer data to train AI models.

Key Features of SparrowDesk

Zoona AI agent

Zoona learns from your website, help center, Notion pages, PDFs, notes and past conversations. It answers in more than 40 languages, can call your APIs and MCP servers to update records, and flags questions it could not answer so its knowledge base improves over time.

AI Copilot

Inside the inbox, Copilot summarises conversations, drafts replies for agents to review, translates threads and pulls context from HubSpot, Linear and Attio.

Account Intelligence

Background agents group conversations into topics, flag problem threads early, handle routing and triage, and draft or update help center articles from resolved tickets.

Omnichannel inbox and workflows

Email, chat and other channels share one inbox with macros, custom views, SLAs, round-robin assignment and automation workflows on higher plans. Slack support lets teams run tickets directly from Slack.

Help center and CSAT

You can publish a branded, searchable knowledge base that also trains Zoona, and send one-tap satisfaction surveys when tickets close.

Reporting

Prebuilt and custom reports cover conversations, team performance, SLAs and AI agent results, and Copilot can answer questions about live data in plain language.

SparrowDesk Pricing

SparrowDesk combines per-agent helpdesk plans with usage-based AI add-ons. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of free AI credits, and the pricing page notes a 20 percent saving with annual billing. Every plan can be trialled free for 14 days without a credit card, and a startup program offers up to 90 percent off.

Prices checked on October 27, 2026; check the official pricing page for current plans.

Who Should Use SparrowDesk?

  • SaaS and tech startups that want an AI agent answering repeat questions from day one.
  • Small support teams that need email, chat and help center in one affordable tool.
  • Teams that already work in Slack and want to handle tickets there.
  • Companies supporting customers in many languages without hiring specialists.
  • Support leads who want AI-generated topic analysis and help center updates.

Is SparrowDesk Worth It?

SparrowDesk offers a modern helpdesk at prices well below many established tools, with a genuinely free tier for up to three users and a pay-per-resolution model for the AI agent, so you only pay when Zoona actually closes a conversation. The emphasis on training from existing content keeps setup quick.

Keep the total cost in view, though. The AI agent and extra Copilot or Account Intelligence credits are add-ons on top of seat prices, so busy teams should estimate resolution volumes with the pricing calculator. Advanced workflows, SLAs and custom reports start at the Professional tier, and SSO is Enterprise-only. The free plan has no AI credits and caps conversations at 500 a month. For teams that want AI to take over routine tickets without an enterprise contract, SparrowDesk is a sensible candidate to trial.
